The TLC features a small but growing collection of resources, including books, periodicals, equipment and online resources. If you are looking for something specific please feel free to contact us.
 

BOOKS
Our small but growing collection of books features titles on educational technology ,teaching and learning, distance learning and software applications. Material is located in the TLC and faculty and staff may check out these books at the library check out desk.

EQUIPMENT
The TLC has more than 20 computers available for staff and faculty use. The TLC also offers a wide range of equipment available for faculty and staff use.

Use of all equipment is restricted to SSCC business and activities and some equipment can only be used in the TLC. Available equipment includes:

E-Tools Request Form
(for South Seattle Community College faculty, only)

Licenses for the following "6 eTools" were purchased by the District Distance Learning Committee for distribution at the 2004 SCCD Summer Institute and to additional faculty with eLearning objectives on each campus.

This eTool software is licensed only for on-campus use and can only be installed on office computers or laptops being used on campus. 

We have a limited number of licenses

Guidelines for distributing these eTools are as follows:

  1. 2004 SI participants for their office computers;
  2. faculty who attend eTool workshops;
  3. faculty developing eLearning materials for online classes
  4. faculty developing eLearning content for hybrid or on-campus classes
