Part 1 | Part 2

Camtasia Effects

Camtasia EffectsWith Effects you can add callouts, text boxes and arrows to your recorded videos. Objects can be added and edited by means of a timeline so your recording is not interrupted.

There are a variety of pre made shapes to choose from, including arrows, callout, text boxes and boxes.

All of these objects can be used to hold text.

Layout of objects can be controlled further by means of the layout toolbar.

Images can also be imported into effects and used on the recordings.

The main parts of producer are the Storyboard, Video Editor, File Navigator, Timeline and Audio Editor.Camtasia Producer

Storyboard is where you drag the recordings, and images you are trying to join together into a movie. Once on the storyboard objects can be joined together with transitions and exported in different formats.

The Video Editor allows you to edit your video down to the second, as well as remove sections.

Recordings and Images are selected from the File Navigator and can be dragged to the storyboard or video editor.

The Timeline allows you to keep track of what actions are occurring in your video at a specific time frame. It can be edited by clicking on it.
