"Puget Sound Sumi Artists"
October 1 - October 30, 2002
Reception: Thursday, October 3, 2002, 5pm - 7pm
Sumi-e Demonstration in the gallery Thursday, Oct 17th, 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Founded in 1986, this organization is a group of local sumi-e and calligraphy artists who, while actively engaged in creating original work, encourage and develop awareness for this ancient form of artwork. The group has exhibited extensively throughout the Northwest.
"SSCC Web Design Show"
November 7 - December 6, 2002

This exhibit features the students in the SSCC web-design program. The show will include designs on computers as well as printed material on the gallery walls.

Bringing together the artwork of the welding, blacksmithing, and
jewelry making students from SSCC and NSCC.
"Pacific Northwest African American Quilters"

Quilts by the PNWAAQ, a collective of Puget Sound women
dedicated to the creation and preservation of quilting and promotion of cultural heritage and history. Becoming increasingly popular in our region, four members recently had their artwork purchased by the Seattle Arts Commission.

The exhibition promotes and celebrates the artistic diversity of
