Off-campus Access to Databases
Guidelines
Users
You must be a currently enrolled student or an employee of the Seattle Community
Colleges to use the subscription databases linked from the libraries' web pages.
Community members who are not affiliated with the Seattle Community Colleges can
use databases provided by local public libraries such as the Seattle
Public Library and the King County Library
System.
Database Usage Guidelines
Electronic resources provided by the library are subject to a variety of
restrictions on access and use. Common restrictions include prohibitions on
non-academic use, and limits on downloading and printing an excessive portion
of any database or publication. Users should always consult the terms governing
use (often referred to as "Terms and Conditions" or "Conditions
of Use") on the home page of a resource to inform themselves about possible
restrictions.
