Scheduling Classrooms for Library Instruction

Scheduling Classrooms for Non-Research Uses

Classrooms may be reserved for non-research use only when no alternative is available.

Non-library faculty and other College programs may request the classrooms for non-research sessions on a space available basis in advance, but library classrooms cannot be reserved as a regular meeting place for a non-library class. Requests for exceptions may be referred to the Dean for Instructional Resource Services.

Classroom T can be reserved only if the computers are needed and no alternative is available. This room will not be scheduled for meetings or general class sessions. Individual students or small groups in need of computer-based research may use Classroom T when the schedule allows, but they may not book it for exclusive use.

Classroom A may be scheduled for classes in need of media equipment that cannot be provided in their regularly assigned classrooms. Classes that need such accommodation on a regular basis (i.e., more than 3 times per quarter) should request a regular classroom assignment that can meet class needs. Such requests should be made through the appropriate division secretary during the class scheduling process.

Login Access to Classroom T Computers

Current students, faculty, and staff may use computers on a first-come first-served basis.  Users must log in to the library network to access the Internet and the network printers.  Logins are listed on the college website under Student Accounts: Wi-Fi / Library Reference.
