What is the fee for overdue or lost materials?
You are responsible for all library materials you borrow. Please return library materials promptly.
Although overdue fines are charged only for videos and reserve materials, the following procedure applies when items are overdue for more than three weeks:
- You will be billed for the cost of the item plus a $5.00 processing fee.
- A block will be placed on your school records until you have paid for the item or returned it.
The block suspends your library borrowing privileges, prevents you from registering, graduating, adding or dropping classes, or receiving grades, transcripts or financial aid.
- This block is removed when you return or pay for the overdue materials. If the item is returned there is no fine.
What happens if I damage a book I borrowed?
- You will be charged for damaged library materials up to the full cost of the item plus a processing fee, depending on the extent of the damage.
