The traditional A.P.P.L.E. Program for parents of children from birth through age eight provides six eleven-week parenting groups each year, a morning and an evening class during the fall, winter, and spring. Both classes are currently in the Tukwila area.

The 'A.P.P.L.E. Parenting' curriculum focuses on:

  • Parent-child communication
  • Developmental stages and realistic expectations
  • Positive discipline
  • Stress and anger management
  • Community resources

A.P.P.L.E. Children's Program
Parent-Child Lab

'Baby-and-Me' classes are parent-baby activity and discussion groups for parents and their children up to the age of eighteen months. Classes are currently located in Tukwila and White Center. Topics include:

  • Early learning and brain growth
  • Infant nutrition
  • Safety and CPR
  • Sleep issues
  • Anger and stress management
  • Infant and toddler development
  • Books and toys
  • Community resources for families
