Advising: Academic, personal & career advising is provided to students individually and in groups to develop strategies for success.

"College Success Class"HDC101, is a 3-credit course which helps students develop critical thinking, communication skills, self-confidence and an understanding of the college system.

Cultural and Social Activities: TRiO/SSS sponsors events such as excursions to dance and theatre performances, as well as mentor gatherings, university campus tours and the end-of-the-year celebration.

Scholarships and Financial Aid: TRiO/SSS offers students help in locating and applying for scholarships and with financial aid applications and questions.

Student Mentors: Successful TRiO/SSS students offer support, encouragement and advice.

Transfer Assistance TRiO/SSS provides assistance to students in all aspects of transferring to four-year colleges and universities.  Workshops on admissions, financial aid, personal statements and scholarship opportunities are offered in CLIC and Olympic Hall. Campus visits are provided to local colleges and universities.
